Creator, Connector

Manda’s connection to the natural world has been ongoing since childhood. The muses showed up early to play and bring their message. As a conscious creator, she longs to express her sweet love for all things through her spirited creative practice. Manda believes we are all full of magic and we are deeply connected to the natural world. She hopes to evoke that knowing in you through all of her creations…whether it be one of her magical mixed media paintings or her channeled song. Her hope is that you will be inspired, calmed, and connected to that energy that waits for you to notice it so that it may nourish your soul.

Manda's music style includes a wide variety of styles. Most recently, after receiving training in Sound Therapy, she gravitated towards meditative rythmns that connect the listener to the pulse of the Earth. Her music has taken on a new dimension, reflecting her deepened connection to the natural world. Manda aspires to use her music to engage and motivate her audience to explore and deepen their creative impulses while fostering a stronger connection with the natural world.

Meet Manda

Manda studied the piano from the age of 5 until she was 18. She began writing music at the age of 18 after teaching herself to play the guitar. She joined several rock groups, and most notably was the singer, songwriter, and bass player for the band Manda & the Marbles.

The group was founded in 1997 and Manda wrote the majority of the material for the groups' 4 albums: Rock's Not Dead, Seduction, More Seduction, and Angels With Dirty Faces.

In 1999, Manda lost all hearing in one ear due to a rare viral illness, but this did not stop her from pursuing her dreams and only made her work harder to reach her goals.  2001 was the band's breakout year; they played at the CMJ Music Marathon and later signed with Go-Kart Records. The band toured the US several times and were well received.

During 2003, the band was proclaimed a band on the rise by Rolling Stone Magazine, and Manda Marble was voted as one of the Top 100 Women in Rock by the readers of UK magazine- Miss Minx.   Manda and the Marbles were the first band to release a song using podcasting and were heralded for this achievement on MTV and the BBC.

Manda has performed on stage with the Killers, Elvis Costello, Billy Bob Thornton, Phantom Planet, Stellastar, and many more.

Manda’s music was featured in several motion pictures, including the low budget thriller Creepies(2003) and the 1980s throwback Nail Polish (2006).  Her music also appeared on the MTV show Rich Girls and the band's image and name were shown in the film Come Away Home (2005).

Over the years, Manda continued to write music. The songs have shifted towards an acoustic and more folk-influenced style but still retain a pop edge. Manda has also dabbled in the electronic dance music genre and continues to explore her creative boundaries musically.
