Meet Manda…

“I know there is magic out there to be seen. The trees want to hug you back. The flowers love your compliments and return the love with their beautiful perfume. The birds sing ancient songs for you each morning. The only thing you have to do is stop. Be still. Listen.”

Manda is a visual artist, a singer, a steward of the earth, Reiki practitioner and a songwriter. Manda has written hundreds of songs and produced 4 solo albums and 3 albums with her former band, Manda and the Marbles.

Manda learned the piano at the age of 5 and began writing music at 18 after teaching herself to play the guitar. She joined several rock groups, & most notably was the singer, songwriter, and bass player for the band Manda & the Marbles, The band toured the US several times and was proclaimed a band on the rise by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2003. Manda was voted as one of the Top 100 Women in Rock by the readers of UK magazine- Miss Minx. She has shared the stage with The Killers, Elvis Costello, Billy Bob Thornton, Phantom Planet, & more.

Manda’s music has also been featured in several motion pictures, including the low budget thriller Creepies(2003) and the 1980s throwback Nail Polish (2006). Her music also appeared on the MTV show Rich Girls and the band's image and name were shown in the film Come Away Home (2005).

Manda’s musical interests have continued to evolve. Her focus has shifted towards music as a tool for healing. Presently, she shares her love of music to deepen our connection to one another and to bring us closer to the energy of the natural world. She sees music as a medicine and uses it to foster healing in our world.

Her work is deeply inspired by nature, community, and the medicine of our voice as a tool for healing and connection. She creates her music from the heart and invites you to slow down, open your heart, and reconnect with yourself, nature, and others.

Manda is a certified in Sound Therapy, Reiki I, and herbal medicine making. Manda worked with world renowned singer songwriter Ayla Nereo in 2023 and 2024 through her Empowered Voice training. Here, Manda learned how freeing our voices can profoundly open our creative expression.

Manda is also an artist, and singer-songwriter.

She loves making art, writing music, creating healing tea blends, reading, doing yoga, hugging trees, gardening, baking, making yummy vegan food, walks in nature and spending time with her 4 cats and her husband Mark of nearly 30 years. She is also part of the team at Into the Wild Forest Bathing.
